What you may do with a sound
Short version: each sound is offered under the license printed on its page, and only under that license. We cannot grant you more rights than the license itself gives, and we do not try.
Every sound in the starter library is CC0. That means you may use it for anything, personal or commercial, in games, videos, podcasts, apps, and songs, without asking and without credit. Credit is still kind, and the makers appreciate it.
Two honest limits. First, a license covers the sound itself. If a sound contains a voice, a trademark jingle, or part of somebody else's recording, other rights can apply; check before commercial use. Second, we describe each sound as carefully as we can, but whether a sound fits your project is your call.
If a future shelf carries CC BY sounds, those will ask for credit as their condition, and the sound page will say so plainly, with the credit line ready to copy.
