What this museum offers

Clear Meme offers stories, not files. Every entry tells a meme's history: where it came from, who made it, how it spread, and why it lasted. That storytelling is ours, and you are welcome to link to any entry in the museum.

What we do not offer: the memes themselves. We grant no license to reuse, remix, print, or sell any picture in this museum, because they are not ours to give. A meme belongs to its creator, and the license question belongs between you and them.

There are no downloads here on purpose. If you want to use a meme in your own work, the entry page names its creator and links onward; that is the honest path.

Everything written in this museum is our own original text, and we stand behind its facts. If we got a date or a name wrong, tell us and we will fix the label.
