Clear is a volunteer project. Behind it: a family of sites where the content is the point, pages load fast, numbers are reported honestly, and anything social is kind by design and guarded on purpose. Nothing here is perfectly clean. Everything here tries to be clear.

Load and weight measured Oct 12, 2026 from our test machine, homepage plus its assets. Studio is down with a 522: a 67MB zip broke its builds (Pages limit is 25MB per file). The fix is in its build queue. When it lands, 715 pages flip from red to green.
Real users, honestly
Last 7 days across the three properties that have history: 271 users, 5,577 pageviews. Then the honest discounts. 46 of the by-city visits were us, testing from our home city. Roughly 50 more look like datacenter traffic (Ashburn, Singapore), which usually means bots or VPNs that slipped past the filters. What is left: about 245 real people, in places like Kolkata, Paris, Warsaw, Haarlem, and Phoenix. Three of our five properties only started measuring today, so this count is a floor, not a ceiling. All time, the same math gives the 329 humans served at the top of this page.
How it runs
- Hosting: Cloudflare Pages, everywhere. Static files, no servers to babysit.
- Domains: Porkbun. clr.fm points here with a simple ALIAS record; the old address comes along for the ride.
- Analytics: Google Analytics, read through an API by a read-only service account (Viewer, can change nothing). Every page on every property carries its tag: 2,300+ pages tagged on Oct 12 alone.
- Standards: homepages under 1MB, every image tagged, every page readable by humans, screen readers, and search engines alike.
- Safety: social surfaces are gated and vetted by design. See the long version.
